Mouth-Watering Tempeh Skewers

Looking for a new way to add plant-based protein to your meals? Look no further! Introducing our mouth-watering Tempeh Skewers recipe, created in collaboration with the talented @melissaplantbased. Get ready to elevate your tempeh cooking game today!


  • 200 grams tempeh
  • 1/3 cup crunchy peanut butter
  • 1/3 coconut milk
  • 2 tbsp coconut aminos
  • 1/2 lime, the juice
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp chilli paste
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger
  • 1 clove garlic
  • Tempeh marinade:
  • 2 tbsp coconut aminos
  • 1 tsp paprika powder
  • Olive oil


  1. Cut the tempeh into small cubes and add to a bowl. Add 2 tbsp of coconut aminos, 1 tsp paprika powder and drizzle of olive oil, stir and let marinade for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Thread the tempeh on skewers and air fry for 15 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius.
  3. Meanwhile, in a saucepan, add all ingredients to the tempeh sauce and slowly heat on low heat until thickened.
  4. Cover the tempeh skewers in peanut sauce.
