Omega 3 fatty acids are healthy fats that play an important role in the maintenance of optimum health, including eye, heart and brain function. Algae oil is one of the best sources of Omega 3, with docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) being one of the most vital types of Omega-3 fatty acids that our bodies need.

We use schizochytrium algae, a type of microalgae which belongs to the Thraustochytriaceae family. In the wild, it’s found in coastal marine habitats.

Our softgels have a 12 month expiry date. For maximum freshness, always keep out of direct sunlight.

We source all of our algae from purified pools of salt water in specially developed algae tanks. This means we can monitor the purity of the water and we don't damage any of the delicate ocean ecosystems during the process.

Extraction is done at low temperatures and no solvents are used to extract the oil from the algae or for the concentration of Omega 3. This is to prevent any residual solvents in the product. Also, the low temperatures help to retain the beneficial substances that naturally occur within the algae.

Supplements stored in glass jars can oxidise, which is why we always recommended storing your softgels away from direct sunlight at room temperature in a cool, dark place. If you live in a hot climate, we recommend storing your softgels in the fridge. We also recommend using your softgels within 6 months of receiving them.
