Did you know that Omega 3 is naturally produced by algae, not fish? Fish themselves do not produce Omega 3, they simply consume it. Tiny microscopic algae plants convert the sun's energy into Omega 3.
The Omega 3 then travels down the food chain, with algae plants being eaten by krill, that are then eaten by fish. As we 'cut out the middleman' and our Omega 3 comes straight from the algae itself, it's the purest form of Omega 3 available. As no fish are killed in the process, it's a lot better for the environment and there's no fishy burp either!
The oceans aren't what the used to be. Pollution from heavy industry has left them in a bad state. Poisonous metals such as mercury and other nasty chemicals are dumped into the ocean. These harmful toxins are almost impossible to remove from the fish once they've been contaminated.
Unlike fish oil capsules that are often made from fish that have been exposed to these chemicals, our algae is grown in a controlled environment. This means it's free from any toxins and is a 'cleaner' source of Omega 3.
